Well I figure I've gotten this far in my understanding, here's my last hurdle. I have a Pulsar 1 and a Luna . I monitor using the Pulsar analog dest to my 2 amps.As far as any creamware mixer back into cubase via ASIO I am totally confused. Are the Busses in Cubase solely for the purpose of sending the Cubase audio back to Pulsar?I switch on the vst inputs in Cubase 1 & 2 on but I can only hear the instrument connected to ASIO 1 dest to Cubase,I can't hear ASIO 2 Dest. It gets really confusing. Can someone show me the way to a well routed project where I can record my creamware plug ins indiviually in Cubase?Keep in mind I am not using SFP yet for fear of screwing up what I have learned so far. Thanks

I'm slightly confused as to what you're doing but here goes. If you look in Cubase at your VST ASIO inputs there should be only one input which says In Creamware 1&2 to the left of the green button, and In 1L & In 1R to the right of it. This is a stereo pair for ASIO1, so ASIO2 will not have anything on it! Are you recording effects on VST to save DSP? If not then just route eveything (including VST) live through your Pulsar mixer of choice. The way I work is to route all the ASIO Bus outputs of Cubase into my PulsarMixer, say ASIO1L&R to input 1L&R etc. or if I'm only using a mono signal from Cubase then I route the Left ASIO1 output to mono input 1 and pan the sound in the Cubase mixer hard left to get the maximum signal to Pulsar. To record into Cubase you could route the effected sound to a spare bus output on your PulsarMixer and hard patch it to the ASIO input. Hope some of that made sense.
