Ferrofish A16

Post by krizrox »

Any comments about the Ferrofish A16? I'm a long time user of the original CW & SC A16 Ultra. There doesn't appear to be much of a difference between them but I like that cool front panel display. Wish they offered Z-Link though. I'm considering upgrading to one. I can get an A16 SE model here in the US for around a grand.

newer AD/DA like on the XITE. the A16 Mk2 definitely sounds better and has a lower noise floor. the A16 Ultra is quite good, but the Mk2 is better. i don't think you can get a better AD/DA if you spent more than double...

Cool - this is my next studio upgrade. Prob in the next coming weeks. I just wish they offered it with a Z-Link option. I'm not sure how in love with ADAT I am lol
