i'm experiencing digital distortion (crackling), while using the sts5000.
it happens only when a sample with low frequency content is trigered at the higher velocities. turning down the output of the program or the gain on the mixer has no effect on the distortion.
i triger the same sample from a different source, (a drum synth) with about 2 to 3 times the gain, and get a supper clean signal.
has any one else experienced anything similar to this ?
