Prolonged sitting on a chair and health issues

Post by fra77x »

Because sometimes we may miss obvious things i have to remind people.

Prolonged sitting may result in bad health. Physical and mental. Strain at the lower back affects the spine. Circulatory problems etc. Always remember to exercise (mild, walking etc) after long computer sessions. Relax stretch etc. Ask your doctor.
Musicians that have spend time exercising their instruments + computer usage + other immobile activities severely affects the health.

Well is stand when I play, stand when I record, stand when I edit, stand when looking at Porn, so thanks and I am only concurring with you and totally agree.

I might suggest an exercise ball for any work that requires sitting for more than 45 minutes at a time.
Not that I am smart, but I love Jessica Biel, and watch any stupid show with her in it, don't even know the names of the movies or shows as I could care less, just want to watch her walk around, etc.
But in the movie Stealth. She looks super fine, and was reading up on a manual for a new plane while sitting at a PC. She was grinding as she sat and I thought what a lucky exercise ball that was, and also realized how wise that is to read your LCD from a moving exercise ball.

Cheers
