Cool review. Several months ago I bought a new one from 1997. The only thing that sucks with these synths is when you change the cutoff, you can hear the little digital steps, it's not as smooth as other synths. And the only way to get around that is to use the filter envelope. Other than that, it's one of the best sounding synths out there. I even made a Virus like dance kick. But it's very raw kick that sounds like hitting a wooden table with a hammer . The original preset is called something like "Jump4That" and most of the kick is already made.

ya, we mentioned that also in the vid, but we sometimes even use that to sort of "play" the filter

Hey Faxi,

I am having trouble splitting the keyboard into two different sounds, like a kick on the left and a bass sound on the right. I have read the manual and tried everything I could think of and still no luck. I always end up with the same sound in both scenes. Can you try this on your own keyboard and then tell me the exact steps?
