I’m eating my hat! I’m literally dying to buy an SRB, a 6DSP one or a SCOPE SRB, but… very unfortunately can’t afford it. I’m really suffering to see this opportunity to go by, with no possible way to buy it!!! Just terrible! Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!
Same here, just ordered the ProPack so there's no money left

Is there a difference between the Scope SP and DP cards?
I always thought they were the same card with different software.
Nope.
A Scope/DP card is "generation one", same as PulsarI.
A /SP card is second generation, same as... You guessed it, PulsarII.
Since Scope/SP came out, /DP systems has offcourse been sold with the /SP card.

For those considering buying one of these upgrade packages direct from creamware but concerned about the wait..Dont be. Mine just arrived, it only took 1 week. Their sales guy was pretty helpful too.
A word of caution for anyone thinking of reserving a card and collecting from your local dealer, you will end up paying double the tax! If you buy direct you pay the price on the website, If you collect locally, your store will add vat/tax appropriate to your locality.
perhaps this sale prepares something BIG in creamware... like a new DSP board out in autumn or who knows?
it seems that they are cleaning their remainings.
what do you think about this??
I hate being too cynical but this sounds quite possible. All too often "sales" and "bargains" are the preamble to some sort of redundancy or replacement. But hey, it's still a fantastic deal.
you are right, the deal it's fantastic, and if i had more money or the opportunity to earn something form my music (which is impossible! ) i for sure would get an XTC and bring to 4+3+6=13 my DSPs! but 860euro for me are a month of work! and i'd like to spend money also for something else, apart DSP power, like building my mididrum module (http://go.to/edrum) or change my little mute masterkeyboard or buy a fostex vc-8 analog to adat converter and one or two external (cheap) expander.
(but if my speculation is correct, in a year you can buy a used pulsar 2 or an xtc for even more than now! let's see and hope!)
Just installed my SRB card.. everything seems to work nice
It is a little naughty of creamware to advertise the cards as 15 dsp when you can only use 14 of them. If 1 of these dsps is used to "manage" the system they should really be advertised as 14 dsp cards.
I am also considering to buy the Scope SRB card. But how come the system is only showing 14 dsp instead of 15. What happend to number 15, what is it used for and why are we paying for it?
Now that you have installed the SRB, are you really using al these dsp power or maybe onnly 10 dsp's when you use optimaster, compressor, eq, reverb and delay.
I share the concern of some users that creamware is cleaning their old stocks because they are coming with new and better boards, already new sharc dsp are on the market so it is a fat chance.
Creapy from creamware not to announce anything about this.
