Presets ??

Hi Folks ,

about Presets .. I've never really used them ...

Should a mixer preset , for example , remember every setting on the mixer including solos / mutes and inserts etc?
I did some test setups by creating a bank then some presets ...a/b these I noticed the inserts ( compressors ) were there when they should not have been in only one of the setups ... I then saved the File ... when I reloaded the file and clicked on the presets nothing had been saved , just a blank mixer .

Clearly I have no idea about presets ! comments would be most welcome but be kind please

p.s. Can cc be used to sequence presets ?

Not Sure..just save as a Project and everything will be recalled

Thanks Shogun ,,, yes that's what I've always done... "SaveAs" ( usually with a date etc ) ... but presets could add extra
functionalty ... but the presets dialog / system seems unclear ... presets I thought I was saving are not saved and I'm not
sure why ... Cheers , M

Do you also save the preset list file, or just save the preset?

Unless you also save the list before closing Scope, or remove the device from the project, all your newly saved presets get lost, not?
If I'm not mistaken, Scope even asks if you want to save unsaved preset lists/modulars when closing the app...

I can confirm this: you need to save the preset list first.
We are used to Cubase and other sequencers and their all saving capability I guess.
