Just installed my new SRB card alongside my scope card and now when I try to open my project files, the devices are loaded and then SPF just hangs. The devices are not shown in the routing window. I can move the devices about but I cant click on any buttons. I have to do ctl-alt-delete and kill the application.

I did manage to load 1 project successfully. But after saving it to another filename I couldnt open the new one.

Running SFP3.1a under win98se. Tried reinstalling the drivers and also installing the SFP software over the top.

any ideas?

Change the physical slot of the board - if reinstalling doesnt help, good chance your board is sharing an IRQ with something that's causing problems... check your STDM cable connections be SURE they are clean, and firmly seated on the boards (this one got me recently when I added another board, wiggled the STDM cable and it all worked!)

hi ta for that
I completely reinstalled it and it seems to be working okish. I am getting nil reference pointer on left side errors when i load and save.

Ill try the "wiggling" technique
To be or not to be. What was the question?
