Greetings fellow Scopers,
I am using a myriad of VSTi's these days so finally need to utilise the extra memory that the 64bit environment can offer.
I was therefore wondering if I am able to simply copy all of my presets / projects / devices folders etc etc folders from my 32bit build directly into my 64 bit build, rather than doing it for each plug manually.
Probably a silly question, and i think it should be ok, but thought it best to check if any others have done this first.
Apologies if this is already scribed somewhere but I couldn't find anything specific when i searched.
Thanks as usual,
Mark
ps - forgot to mention i am using an xite-1.

that should be ok. beware that there are some special 64bit files for some plugins, mostly sys files....

Cheers, Gary.
So, if the plugs i want to migrate only use the normal .dsp, .dev & .pre files (and dont have any sys files to copy), it should be ok, right?

sure. i wouldn't copy any dsp files. i'd get those from the v5 plugin files on the SC ftp, or the 3rd party folder if the v5 plugins folder doesn't have them.
copying presets, projects and devices should be no problem at all.
