Hi all
I have a couple of Luna cards, but no breakout cable for MIDI. I only need MIDI input so I can plug in a keyboard. Does anyone have a spare, or know the wiring and plug details?
Many thanks for any help,
Geoff
MIDI connector for Luna
Re: MIDI connector for Luna
Hi Geoff, the wiring is the standard:
The only problem is to go to Maplin website (or shop) and search for a mini version of 5 pin male connector: http://cablesandconnectors.com/PIX/phiema3.jpg and of course a 3 or 5 wire cable.

Re: MIDI connector for Luna
Did not realise there was a mini MIDI connector, will get one and wire up, post some pics later... weekend probably.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: MIDI connector for Luna
it's a ps2 to AT keyboard adaptor.
Re: MIDI connector for Luna
oh, yes, I forgot also to mention this, maybe because recently I made mine with my preferred length instead of looking for an adaptor.
Thanks Garyb

Re: MIDI connector for Luna
Thanks, I might have a ps2/kybd adapter in my giant box of old leads.
