It could be the eLc stopping cubase from working, I will check more.

Going well so far, better to have multiple (hardware) channels in Scope than in Cubase, but I can see rendering will become a real pain unless there is some way to record a wave file in scope.

why can't you just return the stereo mix to a stereo channel in Cubase?
i record from Cubase to Sampliitude.
the pain is pretty minimal. rendering is actually slower, even if the render itself is faster. well, that's if the finished mix is something you care about. a rendered file must be examined(listened to) after the render to check for errors, not so much a recording that you hear while it's being recorded....

Hi Gary,

I worked around the problem by setting up FX channels in Cubase and using sends.

No issue, just to my way of thinking Scope doesn't do nearly enough for what I need now but hopefully this will change as the platform evolves.

great. Scope will always be external hardware.
