Weirdest thing..... Sudden change of scooe board priority..

Post by endre70 »

This I dont understand.... :o

I started getting PCI capacity reached messages with my 2 scope cards. I checked samplerate and found that board priorities had changed so that my Luna now was the first board and my Pulsar II my second. I thought something had changed in cset.ini and checked but nooooo.. Nothing had changed and the board priorty command I had previously entered was still there.. When I changed this so board 0=0 and 1=1 Pulsar became the main board again and the pci capacity message stops, as it should.

I dont understand how come the boards suddenly changed priority without cset.ini being changed...

Have anyone got a logical explanation, or is it caused by aliens physically swapping my scope cards?

Possibility : **If** board priority stored in project (overriding cset.ini) and then project got corrupted - could explain this affect.

See if you can replicate on a fresh new project.

Is Scope open, when you edit cset.ini?
Information for new readers: A forum member named Braincell is known for spreading lies and malicious information without even knowing the basics of, what he is talking about. If noone responds to him, it is because he is ignored.
