Last night we had this huge jam at my place, lots of bears and good talk, and then went for a quick jam. We just wrote the song as we went along. All is performed live.

We used my scope system for tracking live to nuendo with timeworks comps, eqs & reverb all over the place. And it performed flawlessly, without a hinch as usual.

The singer (my girlfriend) is singing into a EXTREMLY lousy consumer mic, which is why she sounds as shes's "lesbing" (essssss).

The snare drum sounds a bit muddy, curse it has a big carpet over it, so we didn't woke up my two children.

All in all (as you can hear) we had a great time doing this, and after tracking with this raw sound, time was getting late, and I made a "export audio" in Nuendo, so my friends could get it home on a CD, but we agreed to mix it sometime next week.

But then I woke up today, and my HD was totally crashed...I mean TOTALLY... DAMN, all the stuff i made for the last 2 months, GONE arrrrrg  .

I say to all of you : GO BACKUP YOUR STUFF NOW!!!! Data isnt safe unless its at least on 2 or 3 mediums.

So, whenever you listen to this song, backup your data meanwhile.

Anyway it was great fun making this song, and it has a lot of funky elements to it.

Fx the "ding" sound which fly around from time to time is a candlelight holder in a string, which is stroked with a screwdriver and then "swung" around two mics.

The "tick - tick - tock" sound is two people playing beerbottles with defferend load (they had a hard time getting through the song without drinking, but they had to, becurse of the "bottles tuning"), stroked with coins.

Hope you backup up while you hear this, else the bitpolice will come and get you...

kinda fun track - shame about the HD crash.

that is kinda scary about all of the bears. you are lucky that you had a lot of friends around, as they are less likely to attack in large groups. I haven't ever seen any in the city, your sighting is rather unusual. I almost got eaten in Wyoming by a bear two years ago, so my sympathies extend to you. I now carry beer with me, because I have found that it pacifies the bears quite a bit, not to mention my friends.

What a cool feeling... it’s really cool! I can even feel at your party without being invited... The girl voice is quite well recorded and surprises me... cos there are so many people doing hard work in their studios and nevertheless never getting a natural sound out of their voices.

Very good sound to be live. Thanks for the fun!
