Weird bug using Midi monitor

Post by neuromantik »

I'm getting a weird bug when hitting clear on the midi monitor, and I'm also using the SCOPE midi keyboard which is causing stuck notes on some external hardware. Any ideas?

I get those too, so instead of allowing the large amounts of data, I use it only to monitor Program Change Messages. I do this by placing a MIDI Filter pre Monitor.
I use RoyT's MIDI Monitor, Scopes MIDI Monitor and j9k's MIDI Router/Monitor. Between all 3 of them I can see my Notes/Channel, SysEx or PChng messages.
One can never have enough MIDI Monitors.
If you want to try and use RoyT's large monitor to assist as I have shown below, let me know.
It's not a Scope device, but rather a Modular Module, so it requires a Modular Shell to be plaved in the project window, near the lowest part of the project.
Then find the Monitor in the Modular drop down menu, and drug out of the shell into the upper left corner of the project window and released.
then you must close the routing window, then click it back on.
It's semi complex but once placed, just save it in a black project template.
You can see j9k's MIDI Router/Monitor sitting to the right of the Larger RoyT Monitor.
