V3.1 a killed Cubase 5!

I installed SFP 3.1a today without problems, but now suddenly Cubase (5.1r1) won't start anymore! It just hangs at the splash-screen doing nothing. I tried loading Pulsar V3.0 then starting Cubase but got the same, no response. Wat the f*ck happened here??
Of course I reinstalled Cubase and checked the dongle but this didn't help, and I'm really not looking forward to doing a complete windows reinstall or drive format.
Anyone have a clue what's going on?

ASUS CUSL2-C mobo
256 Mb RAM
ATI Rage Fury videocard
Windows 98

i don't know what can be.
try to unistal cubase then delete all steinberg's and cubase's (asio, multimedia...) stuf with regcleaner and then instal cubase again.
i hope this will help.

Thanks for that! It seems to be working again. Got rid of a lot of shite in my registry too, nice little app
