Wow, thanks guys, that's very nice! :)
Here it is nearly 21.00 hours, so that's about 3 o'clock in the morning European time.
Next to my book presentation and concert, I will give a little presentation too for people who are interested in the Xite-1.
This because there are no stores here in NY city who are selling this BEAST.

Say hi to my friends and fellow collaborators Brian and Gordon G (sax, electronics), Paul V. (Percussion), Greg Waltzer (organizer), and other folks participating this year.

If this past weekends' recordings at my studio is any indication, then you should have plenty of good response to your work!

Have fun!

Greg

@Siriusblis, I'm sorry, just read this email and we are back in the Hotel, Manhattan.
It was a great concert, we met lovely people, meeting 'old' friends there.
The Xite-1 made an awesome impression! People were very eager to know more about the BEAST!!
When back I hope to place a sound file:

We're back. Safe and Sound.
Thank you all for your support!!!

The Xite-1 is already connected and I have to construct a new collaboration between the paintings of Piet Mondriaan and sound next month.

Great to hear you had success and fun doing what you love.
Karin S. looks serious and I had no idea that Geroge Clooney was into Modular synthesis.
Never saw him doing this before, thanks for sharing.

Awesome. Does Karin contribute to the audio or just doing visual ? Good that the XITE made such a big impression.

Grinnnn....you need glasses!
Karin programmed a show with modular image synthesis, no sound.
The Xite-1 sound was used to modulate modules in this synthesis.
We are waiting for a video that was taken of the performance.
I had my eBook presentation "Modular strategies in shaping reflections and space"
in the afternoon. I just was running the NMG2 Demo version though the Xite-1. Perfect sound.
The concert was the Xite-1 alone with the Modular IV.

This is only the audio registration of the concert. Karin Schomaker's visuals are as important:

Agree with Jose Murcia - it's good to see the avante-garde movement alive and well since one doesn't normally hear much about it since last century. XITE-1D certainly exploits upper frequency domains here like no other. Seeing the visuals at the same time would add to the experience.

Are the images and sounds synchronised to a degree, or would it turn out a totally different performance if repeated the next night ?

We both have added a small factor of randomization in our live performances. We love to be surprized too :)
We control the most important things. As I said before, My sound and Karin's controllers are working on the images.
Every time it is different but still the form follows function performance.
Next performances will be in a few Museums/art galleries here in the Netherlands.

And a radio show is coming up again. As a guest I can speak 2 hours about the concept: edge of sound.
With sound examples. Maybe I will bring the Xite-1 again into the show.

your work is dangerous in the wrong hands...

it's amazing to be able to do all that to the audio, to synthesize those sonic environments and yet just be fiddling around with a laptop. it's a long way from tape machines and loops and installations that took up an entire room to stuff that can travel as carry-on luggage.

inspiring.

For advertising, at the start and end of your show, you should have an animation of all that Sonology gear slowly getting sucked into a brand new XITE-1, with an accelerating sucking preset you made in Modular, and finally all the cables disappearing inside. With a caption rotating into place underneath : 'Get Sucked Into the Future with XITE'
