Transfer Scope PCI folder installed from xp to win7 32bit ?

Have you ever try to transfer 5.0 or 5.1 "scope PCI" folder from an old winXP (32bit) to a fresh install of win7 32 bit ?
I ask this question because i'd like to upgrade soon to win7 32bit, and I don't know if I must reinstall all the 3rd party devices and patches I have installed until now on XP.
If I must reinstall all that stuff, I prefer to stay with my good old XP

sure, you can copy over device folders, preset folders, dsp folders, sys folders, dll folders and script folders, but beware. you don't want to overwrite newer files with older ones.

I can't simply replace the "Scope PCI" folder ?
I'll use the same 5.0 version of Scope.

you can, but everything may or may not work correctly.

you can rerun the installer if it doesn't. probably.
