This is a really well optimized and accurate plug in.
I have gone through several sets of cabinets and returned the Yamahas, JBLs and Mackies.
Opted for the QSC K12s and they are powerful and damn near perfect except for my tastes I had to cut 160, and boost 2000 by slight amounts, but this is a plug in I never really needed before as my Barbettas were just on the money but too damn powerful.
I needed cabinets I could run hot without killing the stage mix, so these 1000watt QSC K12s are what I settled for, and with the Scope 31 Band EQ, it's really a very enjoyable sound at decent levels.
Just thought I'd share another little Scope Gem I recently used.
31 Band Graphic EQ
Re: 31 Band Graphic EQ
Just beware of the click the plugin produces when it is initiated in a Scope setup. It might kill your new cabinets.
Or did they fix this problem on the XITE?

Re: 31 Band Graphic EQ
it's one of my favorites, very responsive and - of course - ideal for broad band corrections.
Perfect also for restauration aims like with old tape demos or old records copies and the like.
never noticed any click here, Petal, I just tried it in the master chain to be sure: not the smallest click.
On mac OS9, but that can't be relevant on DSP.
So much bands, so much control: that alone already gives me a good feeling.

Re: 31 Band Graphic EQ
I'm pretty sure that the plugin was infamous for a very loud click/pop when it was loaded in/with a project.
So one had to be very careful not to turn your speakers on, or have it muted, until after the project had loaded and the plugin had produced it's pop.
It was the reason why I stopped using it, cause I tended to forget about this very odd behavior and it scared the shit out of me.
I'll check it out for my self tomorrow.

Re: 31 Band Graphic EQ
OK, I just checked it. It produces no loud pops in Scope V5.1 on the XITE.
But, I'm pretty sure it used to do that back on an earlier Scope version, you know, when PCI still was the hottest thing...

Re: 31 Band Graphic EQ
Ok, it wasn't just me imagining things:

Anyways, good to see it's not a problem anymore.

Also, there's quite a few good EQ-tips and tricks in that thread for the curious one
