Alicia Keys

Post by dawman »

Her voice and talent keeps growing, and so does that massive backside, but it gave her some serious vocal chops as she really sang the anthem well, nice voicings on the Piano, total package.
And really nice to see somebody actually sing instead of that lame ass lip syncing crap.
Having said that, Beyonce is a great lip syncer as I didn't notice until I really watched her sing again as the hub-ub was on maximum.
But when you have a fake Government, having a real band play and a real singer perform wouldn't be appropriate.

Pass the hot sauce..

The halftime show was weak, fake Beyonce slithering dirtbag dancy prancy crap. So-0h unseductive.
The IEM/Monitor man did a great job of making sure she could hear her taped vocals though.

I was more convinced about the Ageless male Ads and Roland V-Piano video with Scientists in White Coats.

The scientists from NASA made me wanna drop 6 large.
Didn't know Jerry Springer was such an accomplished Pianist....

Yeah, Beyonce's show is definitely worn out.

Alicia was great.

Sounds good to me, as does the idea of modelling a piano - but how much better than pianoteq would it be for 6 large though ?

PTeq is the end to all Pianos since you can edit every single note move 5 mics around under the lid in the room etc.
It use to suck and still sucked up to PTeq 3, and now it's just adding more and more every year. The most bang for a buck Native plug I ever got for free....

There's a new instrument coming out again soon and it will really be the icing on the cake as there are some testers there who are really finicky fux. Even they are pleased.
But they're the kind of guys that hear an imperfection nobody else does, but the developers really enjoy jumping through hoops for these guys and their "perfect" hearing.
Me on the other hand just hit record and bang away with all of my grace notes and imperfect timing, while they have quantized MIDI files they pretend they are playing, as if nobody can tell.
They were shocked when they asked me for a MIDI File and I told them I used VDAT and don't know how to make a MIDI file. So they downloaded Reaper and explained it to me, then I sent them the imperfect perfomance and they were thankful for the slop.
I figured they like the quantized Classcial Concert Pianists that bless us with their time but I was a fresh breath as I don't play perfect Cubase/Chopin... :P

I did really like Beyonces production though the crews were spot on and the aerial stuff was quite impressive. But I have seen and been involved automated stuff and it's exactly the reason I no longer sit on stage in a fake show, regardless of the payscale. Those shows get monotonous and extremely boring, which makes me drink and shoot up heroin on the breaks, so it's better I stay busy. Cheaper in the long run and healthier.

at least the audience having so much fun in the front row was real! uh yup, it shur waz.

scripting it makes it easier to get out the message. there was an important message to get out and a lot of money was spent to make sure it got out. otherwise, they could've just had a band perform and sing.
