I bought a Pulsar 2 as a second card mainly to be used in XTC mode. My problem is when in cubase and selecting a XTC synth I can't route any midi data to the synth. The synth is selected as the midi output on the midi track, but doesn't receive any midi.
This is really blaggin' my head as I've been using cubase for about 6 years, from the Atari to PC, and pretty much a pro user of it, and Ive also been using reason with cubase for some time now with now problems.
I've just spent £5500 on upgrading my studio to a DAW and this is the only problem I'm having.

Setup

P4 1.8A
Abit BD7 RAID
40Gig ATA100 7200 rpm IBM HDD
512MB DDR266
Radeon VE 64MB
MOTU 24i Core
Pulsar II
Midex 8
Houston VST controller
Cubae 5.1R1
Reason 1.01
Pulsar 3.01

Hope someone can help because at this rate I'll just end up selling the Pulsar.

The problem with using normal mode is that I have to connect the analogue O/P of the pulsar to 2 of the I/P on the MOTU. The MOTU is the primary card and uses the ASIO driver which means that if I use multiple synths on the pulsar I have to record each synth to cubase inturn if I wish to apply any VST FX to it. Also it doesnt look very professional to have to do this when I rent the studio out to people, it wastes time and other peoples money.
