I am sick of Cubase.. there.... glad to get that out of my system. The automation works sometimes (bypass buttons seem to turn themselves off/on at will), CPU overload causes a crash, you can't disable DX plugins via automation so that you don't use xx% of CPU power on tracks that have NO SOUND playing etc etc.... I hope SONAR has full automation, also the ability to turn on/off DX effects to save CPU.

Anyone who tried Sonar yet and knows how well it fares with Pulsar?

Sonar 1.1 or Logic ver 4.6 (or superior) are both better options by far than Cubase 5 or Nuendo 1.5.

logic is something big for beginners and newbies (ok, for these there is cubase... har har, just kidding).

would be great to have some logic environment-examples for pulsar in here, and some general tipps...

btw, does anyone know where to get a newer demo than version 3.5? nothing on emagic´s page...

Oh yes please...if the environmental thing in Logic was just as simple as within the pulsar...
;´-(

btw...i know the "automat" but it has not been too helpful for my setup.

The Logic Environment is as simple as Pulsar. Just read the Environment section in your manual, it tells everything very clearly, and it's rather straight forward after that.
