where can I get Drum Loops ...?

Post by Gary_101 »

hi folks,

anybody know where I can get some good quality drum loops?

I'm looking for laid-back, easy-going tempos, not dance-techno stuff.

either gen midi tracks or 44.1 k+ wave files.

thanks for any suggestions!

Not sure if these would suit, but I think the quality and depth of these are great...

My favorite MIDI loops come from GrooveMonkey or OddGrooves.

thanks Eanna, they've got some nice stuff, but looks like you have to buy a full DVD.

I need stuff for a video project that I have to do today (deadline), and I only need a small selection of loops to audition or choose from, eventually I need only one loop.

I don't mind paying a fee, but I don't need a whole DVD. Years ago, I found some good drum patterns (midi) for my synth (yamaha TG77-SY77), but they're mostly dance mixes. I need laid-back ambient.

Maybe try these? 16 meg of chillout loops, never tried them in a track, but they're decent enough...
Free too..

cool! thanks Eanna, will give them a try.

also, found that ODDGROOVES.COM and prosonic-studios.com
offer many free samples in both MID and WAV, good starters...

much appreciated ....

enjoy your sunday (or monday, depending on where you are!)
