Just the name, Solid State Symphony is priceless.
40 Dollar Sore Dick Deal
Re: 40 Dollar Sore Dick Deal
another example of the fact that you don't need tons of articulations to get a good sounding orchestra. you only need someone who knows how to arrange strings...
Re: 40 Dollar Sore Dick Deal
Bloody hell that Torch guitar sounds good, I wonder if it takes hours of arranging/tweaking to get it sound that good.
I didn't think much of Shreddage so wonder if Torch is better ?

The acoustic guitar is nice : 31€ ! Thanks, Jimmy ! How did you find this ?
Re: 40 Dollar Sore Dick Deal
Strawberry Guitar by Orange Tree has replaced Shreddage I bought this for the same reason the demo was good and the price was right. But it's really easy to play too.
The name and the past business I have w/ the developer made it an easy gamble, I figured I have lost around 100 USD Total due to decent demos of a crappy instrument and a cool looking GUI, so I got lucky w/ this one.
I have this guys free stuff for Gigastudio from years back and have always kept an eye on him as he develops instruments with that Gigastudio frame of mind still where less is more.
I have LASS 2 and Strings don't get much better than that, and the size of RAM use is ridiculously low thanks to developers listening to their base.
Most guys don't want Cubase strings where special "control" tracks must be used, and then bounce the audio because the developers have 50 mic positions all sounding as if someone used BX Digital with a different preset.
They just want to play the instrument instead of editing everything.

Thx for posting,- never heard of the company before and their stuff sounds great IMO.
These prices are a steal.
Low RAM footprint very welcome for 32Bit systems.

This thread echo's my comment on the "does a synthmaker's bad demo turn you off?" thread from a little while ago.

If the author can produce good factory presets and demos, chances are he's a good dev. Think that's what my brain is telling me when I see a good demo.
Not because it is easy, but because it is hard...

This one is a bit more expensive but does great for bass, drums and el.guitar.

I use Human cutouts to stand in front of gear, then remotely control the sequencer from the Bar and get paid a couple large to get buzzed for a few hours. But I don't have those realistic head bobbings and passionate moves the robots have.
I really should upgrade.
