For drums with decent sound, and a novel algorithmic sequencing tool for more realistic sequences, I would also recommend Jamstix.

Very cool program that can also be used to trigger other tools such as Superior and BFD, and it's fun to work with.

Just got the ToonTracks 'Rock Solid' extension (3 kits plus extra drums). Impressive, and I think it comes with drag drop MIDI rhythms, phrases and fills as well.

I don't know about FAT Inserts bleeding feedback, but his AUX Channels in many of his mixers have a bleedover that allows feedback.
I like Nugents feedback and most of Hendrix's feedback too..

Ok I need to use schedule here and I understand now that its important that I
koncentrate on Toontracks and make also two Aux feedback for stereo Toms also here then,
since we moved the Voice feedback to Xite and it became so controversial.
We must find the right drumkit.
I must let my drummer deside .
Dantes choice seems very interesting to me though.
For me I can take any drums there.

I am considering becoming a looper after seeing how fast and efficient Reaper is and it's editing of loops is insanely fast.
I heard reFX Vengeance loops and they are so cool.
So I think BFD2 and a few of the Gay Bar Dance grooves from reFX and I'll be set.
If somebody really likes Scabbey Drums I'll sell mine for 50 bucks anytime you want.

Hugely overused and very recognisable loops though. Making your own is definitely the way to go.

In all honesty I am motivated as I am seeing DJs making 500 USD a night, and doing 4 nights and I know I would enjoy watching these fine creatures dance as the Classic Rock Tribute has turned into a gathering of the Grays, and I ain't talking about aliens...

The Grooves and Monkey libraries are MIDI sequences, so I usually just build the loop sequences in Samplitude, and point the track to Superior2 drum module.
Then you have the option of setting up your techno compression, EQ in either you DAW or in Superior itself.

I believe that there ARE some 3rd party presets being distributed or sold that have all the channel configurations to get that techno effect in Superior. Same goes for side-chaining if you are working with those deep bass frequencies in Solaris pushing against the kick drum, etc.

Hey thanks for your suggestions! I will take a look at some of those products you recommend.

Some of the posts on this thread don't make any sense to me at all. Might be a language/translation issue. Appears to be some angst flowing over from other forum topic areas. My questions weren't meant to start a heated debate. Truth be told my experience and technical expertise die off quickly when it comes to anything MIDI based - or synth VSTi based. I really don't deal in those areas very often. I'm not stupid on the subject, but I dabble in that stuff so infrequently I tend to forget what I've learned pretty easily. Most of my clients are local rock bands, or blues, jazz, folk, pop, voice-over etc. Nothing involving MIDI sequencing. In fact, most of my clients wouldn't know what MIDI was if it hit them over the head. I'm only using the mixing and effects side of Scope. I can't remember the last time I pulled up one of the synths and did anything meaningful with it. I have a couple of keyboards here but my clients use them just to play simpler piano/synth parts - I've never recorded a single second of MIDI with them. Just run the analog outs through my Mackie and into my A16. So I'm really a bottom feeder when it comes to the more technical aspects of Scope lol

Still Scope is the hub of my studio. Couldn't do what I do without it. No one will be sadder than me when my Scope PCI cards and A16 cease to work and I have to upgrade. But the Xite and Ferrfish products are on the horizon for me. Anyway - cheers and have a great holiday everyone! Thanks for your help!
