NI Recording Studio

Post by braincell »

I called Native Instruments and pushed the wrong button which connected me to their recording studio. He told me this is not only where they make their samples but a public recording studio. It must be hard times in the music software industry if they have to do this.

I think it's just a business decision. I mean, if you got a great studio and you're not using it all the time, might as well rent it out right. You'd probably do that regardless of how the economy is doing.

If you are responding on my thread.
The answere is no, no and no, but maybe
the oposite way around.
We now test the sE4400a with a Phantom Power supply,
made here so if we want to find out for example, the difference between
levals its not the plug but maybe they have use for the money,
I am sure its good for something

no, I was responding to braincell thread (this thread), about NI using their studios not only for in house use, but for public use. I don't have a clear understanding of what you're talking about.

Of course they would be totally open and honest as all companies are such as SC ROTFLMAO!

well, NI is located in Berlin... and not exactly small on headcount
if they need a studio and gear to hone their sounds, it would be almost decadent to NOT lease it to 'other' customers :D
(cost of real estate, investment, maintainance - all supposed to fit an ecomic balance)
on the other hand it gives them lots of real world contacts and first hand experience on the job
better beta testing, so to say
that's hardly any speculation ;)

cheers, Tom

I agree totally and I might use both theire Hammond and there Synth sounds later,
even though I now want Sonic Core to make a new Ragtime Piano Plugin.
If NI do that first I dont mind using it , but I think after more than 10 years with NI.
I will be surpriced if they stop doing things.
I can use NI Stand Alone Synths in MADI if I want.
Theire Kore 2 was 64 bit before all the others.
I am more interested in Scope dsp.
