Does SFP v3.1 work with the original Pulsar 1 board?

Required hardware in the SFP docs doesn't mention Pulsar 1... has anyone with a Pulsar 1 made it work, or should I stick with Pulsar v3 software ?

i got a luna2 board with pulsar 1 and pulsar1 srb it works fine.
the sfp is registered to my srp card so i dont think there will be any problms.

Thanks thermos - a glimmer of hope.
I don't even have a SRB card though: just a Pulsar 1 purchased in early 1999. Anyone else got "only" that card and got SFP3.1 on it ?
