German technology, as we all know is way superior. It is WW2 German U-Boat engines that power the backup generators for the Wikileaks server farms.

And the bunkers can withstand a nuclear attack, so once we're all done, we can be assured that the truth will live on, about the superiority of German technology and perhaps the name Scope would be famous posthumously

Here it is clear that politicians are behind their own interest and not at all behind the needs of the population:

http://www.nbcnewyork.com/video/#!/news ... /177007621

These problems could have been solved in about 12 hours sending trucks with water, food as well as first aid kits, as simple as that.

When this horrible earthquake happened in Chile, being a very small country, without infrastructure at all compared with the USA, nevertheless, people started to receive food, water and other vital elements within 12 hours; the trucks had to come from really far away places… How come that there is people still without attention in NJ and NY? It is ridiculous! Politicians are running a business of their own, period.

well, what do you believe then: politicions help, never help, or help depending from situation and/or country?
Now you just vent your own 'believes' but proof at the same time that truth is not that simple...

Don't believe the hype, and listen to your own experiences also.

During such disasters people rely on each other, and oddly enough WalMart and Home Depot, as they are experts at distribution.
On the other hand the unemployable morons at FEMA are sending out tweets on Twitter and Facebook not understanding communications are just now starting to get back online in the most affected areas. Their promised Generators haven't gone online, as they first must pass DOE and EPA regulations on Carbon emissions.

New Yorkers and especially New Jersey-n's will survive, but will now understand that it's the local businesses, and neighbors, plus first responders are all you can count on.
You will see Obama and his brood of women with mens haircuts taking photographs of their brief visits before they fly off to another fundraiser, or gathering of the Sheep in unaffected areas to make sure they vote for him, or Earth will cease to exist.

I have survived several such Social collapses and natural disasters and not once ever saw a Federal FEMA worker. The States are better equipped than some overpaid unneeded pencil pusher in DC. FEMA workers couldn't find a Hooker in a Whore House.

But if we vote again for Obama, we are guaranteed a larger more streamlined Federal Goverment, that will veto all earmarks, cut the deficit by half, and get unemployment down to previos levels, and have CSPAN record all of the voting sessions and committees in realtime.

Baaa-Baaa.........

Because, the Feds are set up for unaccountabilty at all steps, then they refuse to allow trucks of food from private businesses as donations, etc. as there are"safety" issues.
These clowns could fuck up a steel ball.
In Europe I am sure they would have similar problems if some EU style system tried to tell a smaller community like Denmark that has it's shit together, how they should react. This top down style never works, and IMHO is just a reason to spend more money on unnecessary control of an already controlled enviroment.
Thier support should be funding since they alone are responsible for Flood insurance. No private company would be stupid enough to insure waterfront property unless it's on stilts on an inland lake. Only moronic Feds would make tax payers cover rich peoples Beach front property. But they care about the little poeple very much....

Google FEMA's incerdible goat fucks during Katrina where they took control of the Busses and transportation that was already in motion for other chores.
The pathetic Mayor was no better as my Uncle sat on his roof in Algiers ( across from NOrleans) and watched his property with Binoculars and plenty of rounds.
He was shocked that he saw hundreds of school buses that could have been used to evacuate the Nursing homes, and people who were hospitalized.

There are so many example of why smart folks never listen to the "authorites."

I was stuck at Lambert Airfield when a Tornado swept through at night and destroyed the terminal and many runway vehicles. After we were allowed to leave the underground offices, like sheep they guided us to retrieve our luggage. I saw 2 employees, each taking 1 ticket at a time to retrieve luggage with hundreds of people in line.
I said fuck this shit, I am not listening to these idiots and my luggage will be there when I re schedule my flight later, that's their responsibility.
We were also told we couldn;t leave the Airport and I said F you again as I ain;t waiting for round 2 and I will escape and survive. I grew up there and know every alley and road, so I hired some poor Ethiopian Cabbie scared to death to take me to my mothers house 30 miles away. At first he was listening to the same "authorities" until I broke out a roll of Ben Franklins. Thats how we communicate in the real world. So we dodged downed power lines stayed off of the highways and made it to my destination, and he made twice what he would have made normally.

I have no wool on my back and more than enough experience to look the other direction when "authorities" and media Parrots tell me to watch this, look over here, etc.

Interesting story dawman

I am sure, and I don’t need to have any special expertise, that within 12 hours we could get 1000 military trucks full of water, food and first aid kits to help the victims. In about 24 hours you could make wonders and help this painful passage of people’s lives easier to bear for them.

There is NO will but interest in some of the big boys up there...

The disaster would've been less big if electricity networks were underground.
Public investments are good for enforcing the economy, and you build up something, at least quality of life in general.

The lack of good contingencies (right word?) and exercise events to let the different help instances train in coöperation under stress is a shame tho, agree.
And simple dykes or whatever idem.

The Power Companies have made a fortune for their shareholders, now it's time they re invested before Obamas Czars start licking their lips and bring a lawsuit from the DOJ about safety/decisions.
This IMO is what Government should be doing, making sure business is fair, protect the citizens, promote private sector growth, and be there with money during a crisis, not a bunch of managers acting like Napoleon or Patton. Only local folks know where , when and how things break down.
i don't like placing the blame on people but in this case, energy is a huge money maker as most politicians all shareholders and hedge themselves with Green Energy in hopes of Cap & Trade being passed. Can;t lose as they all know the direction and role Government will play.
But this Consolidated Edison would make the real Edison roll in his grave if he saw where these power stations were situated.
People have been electrocuted, so while the company is sued, this makes redesigning their antequated designs harder to re implement.

Perfect time for a Federal takeover.Same way with AIG, Ally Bank, GM, etc. Squeeze out the shareholders, buy it pennies on the dollar and mark up another win for the Proliteriats....

Right now GM has offered the money owed to get the Feds out, but they don;t want it, they want a voice, along with the major shareholder..... UAW. What a cozy relationship there.

for what's worth, the standard answer will be:
it doesn't matter who wins, Bush=Clinton=Romney=Obama.
Elections are a setup, to make people think they have control on their lives :(
What I read is the the turnout at the election will be decisive: a few percent less turnout and Obama will lose.

sad differencies

Now, mainstream news suggest that Obama is the winning champion, but the polls tell you that Romney is in fact the winner.

Don't know where you get that from :-? (no pun intended).
My mainstream news say that in the (decisive) swing states, especially Ohio, Barack Obama has a small to very small to zero lead, with only few exceptions.
All within the borders of statistical fail factor of the polls.
But if the coin falls to the republican side those polls would equally have measured faulty, which chance is statistically small of course.
What could turn the thing is Republican enthousiasme (they smell blood where Obama has to overwin feelings of deception after his term).
Another thing is that if turnout of voters decreases it will be in disadventage of Obama, as Democrat voters normaly tend to vote more consequently (sounds contradictional, but you get what I mean).
Heavy rain in Ohio could make the difference this way.

Just saw a good program about America on tv with the maker of monumental 'In Europe' and America connoisseur and historian Geert Mak.
The historic endless new frontier which could solve crises just by 'running forward', dissolving of the cohesic 'Mainstreet' society exchanged by the modern lose suburbs since the 70-ties, the loss of the natural base of both Republican and Democrat parties by elitarian processes, reflected in misbehavior of the bankers elites, everything leading to apathy and extreme ideological load in the discussion between centralism and liberalism, the slowly dissolving middle class which suffers now also of the crisis, etc.
It's reflected here on Planetz also.
(sorry for cripple English at this kind of subjects)

Well Saudi Arabia won the election for 12 years, then China seems to have won the last 3 elections. So I predict China will win again.

http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q= ... P5F5uBXSqg

Here's a former politician who refuses to give up his private jet and limo service.
It's Dick Gebhardt, Mr. Anti China when the AFL-CIO was paying for him and his family's exotic Safaris and Vacations with Security Details costing taxpaers 50-100 Grand per trip, and that was back when the dollar was worth something.

He has apologized and bowed to the Premier and begged for forgiveness, and even Pole danced for some of the party members that like men more than women, and finally was forgiven and got the gig as China's Lobbyist in the USA.

Liberals are alot smarter than people think, under Obama we have Prisoners making Solar Panels for 1.28 cents per hour, much cheaper than Chinese and Mexicans. So when people say Liberals are blinded by ideology and bad stewards of our money, I disagree, they have everyone fooled thinking they have the humane/moral high ground, when actually, before long we will be doing stem sell research on drug offenders in our Green Gulags.

Naturally these topics aren't exposed in the Liberal media or even the fake Conservative media. Research is key to the truth and more than 1 source in this world of disinfromatuion is requirred. But most prefer to be spoonfed news from the NYTimes and BBC and other media parrots posing as investigative journalists, when actually they are meger stenographers.
I did use a newpaper as a source after I researched it, that way those who are hypnotized by the media will feel comfortable seeing their source for information, finally forced to write something about this on page 32.
