Trade: My Virus TI Desktop for your Scope ...

Post by clementshawes »

Hi all, n00b user here.

I'd never heard of SCOPE until a few days ago when a user offered to part-trade my Virus TI for their Pulsar 2 system (advertised on this forum).
Sadly, I'm in the UK and they're in Turkey - logistically, it could work out pricey if customs/taxes are applied on top of the shipping (despite being an EU member).

So, after a couple of days reading any/all details I can find, I am pretty sold on the SCOPE system, especially Modular (and the Aldern stuffs).
A system with I/O, DSP and dedicated plugs is RIGHT up my street.

So, does anybody care to entertain a trade - my Access Virus TI Desktop, boxed but no manual, rack-ears or disk.
a very small mark on each of the wooden ears but otherwise great cosmetic condition (no scratches on screen or body).
Also have a Waldorf Blofeld keyboard depending on interest but would prefer to keep that.

Happy to entertain anything but would like something with a bit of power (either a good number of DSP's or a lower-spec card but with a decent bundle).
Happy to consider part-exchange or straight-swap based on what anybody has.

Due to the size/weight/value of the Virus and the shameful costs of UK logistics, I'd prefer to keep this inside the UK.

Hi!

Just read your post, thought you may be interested in what I have here.

It's a 2 card system, 6 + 15 DSP, one is a classic and another a z.link. Combined, they have keys for Scope 5, and most Synth/Sampler and Mix /Master plugins, plus Flexor 1.5 (Upgradable to v3) and Solaris (v.5, I think).

I would have to check exactly what plugins are registered, but I can almost assure BX digital is in there, as well as a few other extras. I'll let you know exactly what is there if you're interested.

In total, it's got 4 analog I/Os, 24 ADAT, and 2xMIDI I/O

Would this be interesting to you?

I also have a Magma Express card to PCI chassis, that can house 3 cards and connect to a laptop. I had this as a portable system before I bought the XITE1, and it is working on Win7 32 bit (64 bit requires a 5.1 key)

I can ship from Portugal, but I can get the gear to the London area easily.

Let me know.

Cheers, and welcome to Planet Z.

Tiago
