Anyone knows a Good CP 70/80 multi-instrument or else ?

Post by spacef »

it's to play the old and new ultravox sounds, not sure all CP 70/80 sample banks allow that.

eventhough not sure it is a CP, I would be happy to check your recommendations for such sounds (there is something lovely in the envelopes of that sound).
thanks !

Indeed.

These are perfect too as the CP70/80 is easy to sample as there's very little sustain, so the memory needed is small, but these guys have great loops that decay into silence.

Sorry I missed this as I was in Tennessee..

Pianoteq has a CP-80 model. It's a free add-on, but I think you need to buy the base app first.

im doing an ultimate e-piano mod dev

it has the cp70

from my rmi i e-piano dev i have added extra sample osc 1 for key on noise 1 for key release clunk 1 for string release noise

it will have fender rhodes mk1

rhodes mk1 and mk2 and other rhodes types

i have all the noises from each instrument so you can use the note clunk from a fender with the sustain samples of the cp70

im also adding loads of sy99 fm clave and e-piano samples and a load of e-piano clave type sounds created with the korg wavestation ex

it will have level controls for each section so you can bring out the noise of the keynoises for better effect

i have added a non fx fx section using the same lfo but with 4 to 1 switch and 4 level controls

this will be

1 for tremelo of vca

1 for vibrato of pitch

1 for vibrato of pan

1 for wah wah of filter

same 48db eq section bass mid trebble

the output then goes to 5 different mono amp effects via switches from the flexer modules to add bite then this is summed with the original signal to an pan modulator

then it goes to spacef 4 stereo insert effect mdl this has chorus phaser flange and reverb

i have fleshed it out and i am currently adding the sample content

all samples have been sampled in the same keys so that you can just add them to the same sample osc for that multisound location so it makes it easier to just drop samples in

the noise samples i have done as fixed non transpose as listening to many noises they dont really transpose

i can get 10 notes poly with 36% dsp on my 36 dsp system and on my 27 its about 42%

just with the rmi you could get hundreds off variations of e-piano sounds

with this dev its unlimited as i can add more sample content and using fm and additive and sample layering to create new content you will have e-piano that no one has

dante this dev will be comming your way soon

the rmi thats been stopped as its now part of this new dev so i wont be releasing it to the forum as iots a beta modular dev

this will only be for use with 32bit systems as there are problems with the 64bit systems which dont allow high poly with sample osc

jimmyv could only get 4 notes poly with the rmi beta dev this uses an extra 56 sample osc so on a 64bit system i recon max 3 notes
