Hi..
I'd like to use some kind of doppler fx. Do we have something like this in Scope, free or not 3rd part plugs ? Or is it possible to make some with modular ?

Merci..........

Re: Doppler fx
you mean like a phaser? or the b2003's leslie fx?
sure, you can use both.

Re: Doppler fx
Well, a phaser, no...
I'd like to hear the sound comming from one side and going in the other side with a progressive low pitch.
Like the fireman truck siren you hear when it pass you over in the street.
I believe a phase delay like BBox microdelay would be a good starting point. But the phase delay modulation must not generate any cliks !
I'm going to search in mod IV, flexor or else modules.... Maybe the mod IV tape delay short without any feedback....

... Hmm, the mod IV tape delay short doesn't work like I wish. The delay is much too long.
I'd like a module which delays the right (or left) phase from 0.001 ms to 0.01 ms, not much more ... And without produce any clics !!

Mess around with this, I think you'll have to add a pair of smaple delays form BC Modular or RoyT, but the meat and potatoes are here. I have used it for a Leslie, and even got a train sound, the ding-ding Bell to appear as though it passed by.
Had to use a pedal for the volume swell bnut it was pretty close to the PoPo driving through the Hood ina hurry to dodge the bullets...........

Re: Doppler fx
Does'nt Wolf's Roompan do this? I've never used it like that so i can't verify but i think it works like that. You might wanna investigate, here's the link - http://www.wolf-audio.com/wad/devices/devices.html
Re: Doppler fx
there's an autopan.
a stereo phaser can give a good slow doppler shift from right to left, as well as sound like a fast tremolo or a jet plane take-off.
it depends on how you use it.
a phaser can be quite transparent or distorting depending on what you want.
a phaser IS doppler shift. that's it's whole purpose. unless you want some kinda continuous pitch shifter tied to an autopan...

Re: Doppler fx
Thank you all !
I bought the Wolf Roompan -> excellent ! I'd just like to bypass the verb... I can use the high/low cut to shut it up...
The atOm Leslie M3/FleXoR is nice but I'd like to manualy modulate the moving sound... And I'd I would like it to polish my shoes... And prepares some coffee.
Now, I gonna try the solution with a phaser filter and some paning is modular...
