GaryB - Which plate is which?

Hey folks (and i know Garyb has the info i am looking for:)

-How can i tell (by the looks of the plates alone), which is AES and which is normal unbalanced, etc?

there is an extra chip on the plus(xlr balanced) plate. you'll see it missing on the classic20(RCA) plate.

Any pictures of both board would help anybody having the same trouble here ...

I have several boards splitter on several computer, some providing RCA other with XLR connectors.
The trick is most of the time I just use ADAT audio connexion between them and to the Xite-1 or some of the "basic" scope Home card I/O.
But there will probably be one day where I would wish to use these I/O and will wonder which cable get with which card !!!

I even spent once time wondering such questions and finally realizing after half an hour that the board was not any of that type but was the ADAT type ... :lol:

I don't have a picture of the actual board itself but do have pics of the snake cables of the Scope Pro and Pulsar 2 - Would this help?
