A way for keys

Post by JoPo »

Hi..

I'm wondering how I could have just ONE file containning ALL the devices keys ? And for a new install, just get this file for any device.
I have so many key file, it's a nightmare to find the right one.

Is there a way to generate such a file ? Or does it allready exist in the scope directory ?
I was planing to open all my key files in a text editor and copy every keys in only one key file. Then, at the next new install, I'll look only for this one. Will it work ? It's a hard work for me, so, if there is an easyest way, don't be afraid to tell me !

I'm with Xite-1 and latest scope version. And all my devices are registred , right now.

Grazie mille...

yep, you can combine them in a text editor.

the Scope.rgy file in scope\app\bin should be complete as well.

Easiest way is to just export the file from Scope (eg after adding each new device) isnt it ?

Thanks !

In fact, I didn't find any Scope.rgy ! But ! I found a file name 'keyfiles' at the same place which seems to contain all the keys ! Easy ! :D

Well... I don't see any export button in the set menu. I remember before Scope 5 to have this feature but I don't find it anymore, that's why I asked here...

Anyway, just by coping the 'keyfile' file, I have all the keys.

As usual, Thanks, Garyb & Dante...

Your right I cant find that export button either, swear Ive used it in the past. Maybe it only poped up after a successfull new key import or something...
