No XTC Please help

Can anyone please help. I am trying to get XTC mode wrking on my Powersampler card with the new SFP software. I think I have set up the XTC project ok. It is as follows :
ASIO Source to Directplay mixer in + Merge in.
Directplay mixer out to Analog Out
Merge Out to Asio Dest

However I cannot get any sound from Cubase 5.1. I think it is something to do with the DirectPlay mixer output in the IO settings. It simply says 'not connected ' and I cant seem to bring anything up in it's box. I can see audio going in to Cubase, i just cant hear it.

Any help gratefully recieved

Yes I have. I just can't figure out why I cant get the DirectPlay Mixer showing its outputs in Cubase. Has anyone got a working XTC project I could look at or use ?

I haven't got directplay either in XTC mode. It's quite important if I wanna test Fruity w XTC. But that's not high priority now, I'm waiting for Fruity VSTi...
