and stop trying to reinvent the meaning of "fascism" to suit your idea of what fascim "does". it's not fscist because it's military or imperial, it's fascist because the government is taken over by corporate business interests. THAT is what happened in Germany and Italy in ww2. the expansionism was a side effect not necessarily related to fascism.

again the ONLY definition of Fascism is a governmental system of CORPORATISM. naturally, this ends up with a dictator, because business wants to control the variables involved in profit. profit includes economic and social goals.

hubird, don't worry. anything bad that happens here will be your country's fate as well. the USA has at least 100 years of a "democratic" republic on Dutchland. you'll catch up soon. a homogenous system is happening before out very eyes. your great grandparents never knew something like that was even possible. don't forget, your monarch's father was one of Hitler's main supporters. the fruit never falls far from the tree. you have a lot of gall telling Americans to fight for a fair government, but then chastising them for complaining, which is the first step in doing so.

by the way, i'm still wondering how a "health care system" = a fair and equitable cost of helthcare for all. that's just stupidity. anytime there's a thrid party involved in a transaction, the cost of the transaction increases. in 1965, even the most destitute of Americans could afford health care, as the cost was low, doctors made house calls and the system was simple. one could even easily barter and trade. now, everyone has to go through an HMO that has profit as it's main motive. how can that keep costs down? it's just another example of those that work being forced to finance the cost of everyone else. insurance companies, who are like the gambling house, never a loser, have taken over the entire conversation. is it any wonder that costs are skyrocketing? do you want to know how you can tell that a politician is trying to screw you? it's as soon as they promise to do something for you.

Ladies and Gentlemen: the Californian Connection, at full speed.
Obama a fascist, institutionalised solidarity between people is fascistic, all West-European countries fascists states, Sonic Core probably part of the corporate system hence fascistic, etc.
The only difference between the typical deep south red necks and the Connection is that the last one isn't racistic, for the rest: a bunch of frustrated countryside losers yet, who belong to the richest part of the world but fear to have to share a few pennies with others, leaving Planetz captured by a few extremists. Yo.

what is your problem hubird?

fascism = corporate business running the government. period. that is the actual definition. accept it.

there's nothing necessarily wrong with corporations in themselves.

you can't save money by placing a for-profit middleman bureaucracy in a system(or any bureaucracy for that matter).

all the ideological rhetoric is meaningless and just an attempt to confuse an issue.

anyway, this thread is really about the current level of the threat of open hot, possibly nuclear war in Iran, not your political beliefs, nor mine.

What in the world are you even talking about now? Neither Jimmy, garyb, myself or Nestor are from Cali or represent anything you're referring to here so you're just trolling imo. Either share a viewpoint that represents your own corner of the world or let's get back On Topic as garyb suggests.

FWIW, GaryB is a brave soul who resides in the Soviet Satellite Nanny State of California, which is why one should respect him even more as the Mafia there...........ooops, I meant the wealthy Liberals who represent the poor and naturally themselves and other Plantation owners make it tough for a free thinking working Middle Class man to get by.

And Hubird knows what's right, and since he's unable to contribute anything useful musically, any thread he disagrees with he tries to disrupt,..unsuccessfully.
At one time he had musical contributions, now it's purely political and one sided, and shows the syptoms of media, and search overloads.
He's our new Braincell.... :x

His other brother who cries to the moderators to restore thier once higher learning and knowledgale positions can only be returned through new discovery and conrtibutions, so from what we see here, they have reached the extent of their intelectual abilities and now resort to politics instead of musical ideas, and even their links are of others ideas and thoughts.

So while I would love to see contributions, I'm afraid we'll just come here to read the cartoons and newspapers. On occasion I have nothing to do and am burnt out from performing and programming, so a good Woody Allen movie, 3 Stooges episode, or scratchy chick fights here are suitable forms of entertainment.

When someone fights against “this”, and then fights against “that” indiscriminately, and then, using the exact same dynamics starts all over again looking for any excuse that could give him the opportunity to fight yet another artificial fight, even if it is about a completely different point of view and with a completely different kind of person, but with an identical dialectical approach, just like a sellersman moves toward anybody in the street to try selling his merchandise with the same words over and over again, this person is clearly not defending a point of view “per se”. In fact, the point to discuss is totally irrelevant to his interests, the important thing for him is “discussion itself”, because what he wants is to full up his emptiness with a feeling of worthiness and merit (coming from the admiration of his intelligence from others), a merit that obviously, nobody will never get this way, because he is insulting the very people he is trying to convince of his radiance. For most people, the important thing it is not for somebody to be intelligent to accept and appreciate him, but to be honest, sincere and simple, without hidden malice or a double standard. This also shows which are the values of a person like that, he obviously tends to value more the “intellect” than “emotions”, and this is unnatural to life itself. He is emotionally immature.

In this context, he is trying to be brilliant in front of the rest of the world, in actuality, because he feels diminished in front of others himself because he has a serious trauma for some reason, so he feels accused and persecuted without a real reason and so he feels the need to defend himself out of thin air, and needs to compensate his lack trying as hard as possible to make people believe he’s brilliant, intelligent and extremely instructed.

It is a miserable position to be in, in which he must suffer, sadly, a lot, but not for what others say to him, but because his trauma translates everything into something else which is in relation with the trauma itself. That is to say, it translates everything to its own language, so everything anyone could say will be mistranslated, changed, matched within this trauma-structured-psychology, incapable of seen the new. And when his feelings and needs urges him to compensate what his psychological pressure asks him to do, coming back as an answer, it is aggressive because he feels attacked by everybody, he feels inappropriate in front of others and so he tends to accuse everyone instate of entering into an real interchange of ideas, understanding that people is not necessarily against him, for free. His emotional fragility is far hidden within himself and this is why he shows as being a very secure person, but he is not a secure person, he has learned to be secure by force, because life has been hard for him and he had to adapt to the world with quite a bit of violence. He is not really a bad guy, he is just someone who is looking for acceptance, but in a entirely wrong way, because what people will feel is rejection, evidently, and not admiration, acceptance or friendship.

So, as a final conclusion, all this apparently very insightful thoughts are a fake situation, it is a fantasy of his own mind in the search for some self-affirmation.

If every one of us would be willingly changing misunderstandings, unnecessary aggressions, insults, discredits, into understanding, we would be able to communicate every time in a fuller way making our lives richer, but in this way it is utterly impossible. For two people to understand each other, both have to show some good will.

Sometimes life gives us tremendous opportunities to understand our psychological problems, this could even happen in a forum…, but most people don’t want to change and is so afraid to move away from their own conditioning and programming, that it is a miracle for it to happen. But, if you don’t move away from your conditioning and programming, in fact, what will happen is that you will keep far away from yourself, which is exactly the contrary of what you want.

Is it that hard to structure your mind a bit?
You could go on for pages, it just does't refer to anything real.
It's only in your mind.
You don't understand anything of it, you just contruct a phantasy picture of your mind.

Anyway, it's the same old story, a few guys determine the house style, which definitely makes certain members highly uncomfortable.
The idiotic outburst og (drunk?) Garyb. says it all.

We'll see.

This thread has a topic, one that Nestor initiated and having to do with the involvement of certain interests in the Persian district of this world. Ad Hominem attacks fall well short of anything on topic imo, as do any number of other Logical Fallacies...

And so if responding on a manner that stays within the topic of this thread is the 'house style', what is the opposing view?

As expected and talked in this thread, a bigger economic crisis than the one in Greece is forthcoming now for Spain. Spanish economy is pretty important as a link between several countries in Europe, so if Spain crumbles down economically, others countries around will be seriously affected as well. This is 100% related to the upcoming war, it is part of its development. Every move toward an economical collapse in Europe means “war”:

And the best part is that the Saudi Royals and Arab Emirates have us do their dirty work, but the Iran issue probably was Jimmy Carter trying to exact some revenge to the guys wearing towels and robes, since he was robbed of a 2nd term.

The heat is still rising in the whole of the region and these links are proves of the situation over there. You can interpret a "statement" or an "idea" in any way you want, but soldiers and weapons have little translation other than war itself:

Maybe they should release videos of Putin play fighting in the Urals with swords and other naked men.
Once he's gone, the Puppet at the Podium can read off a different speech.
Surely Russia has to have sucessful acting schools where these guys can learn how to memorize their lines and pretend they believe what they are reading.
I mean we got the worst if you ever watch CSPAN and see these ancient fossils struggling with their 3 sentance scripts written for them.
At least Obama is learning to act and stay on script w/o reading papers, or dual teleprompters.
2 years ago they stopped allowing him to answer reporters questions, but this year he's back and has practiced his parts. Much more polished, and that left to right head movement as if he's addressing some really huge crowd is excellent.
My Grandfather always predicted who could win an election by the way they sold themselves, and truly believed the shit they rattled from their mouths, he was always right on who would win. He concluded that the best actor gets the part.......pretty simple actually.

This build up happening during an election is nothing new, as they know the current President will be instructed to act as though it isn't important.
Getting the second term is the crown jewel.

70th anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea here and Obama is our friend. But maybe if the Japs were allowed to invade and overrun Darwin we would have cheap synthesizers made in this country by now.

You guys actually celebrate that down under..??
My Uncle was a 19 year old kid and was offloaded from the USS Lexington since they lost her down there. He'd be proud knowing somebody remembered thier sacrifice.
The bull shit they try and teach my kid in school is nothing more than a pathetic indoctrination where political correctness should be the major.
Thankfully he was in private schools unitl he was a freshmen. He aces everything with little effort and already wants to go to Tech School and learn a trade. I told him to join the Federal Government, those guys can't get fired, make rap videos on the clock and get paid 30% more than the Private Sector.
Glad somebody remembers the sacrifice made somewhere. Our kids are lucky to even know where the Coral Sea is much less what occured there.
The guys that served with my Uncle were more scared of Halsey than the Japs. They called him the Kamikaze Carrier Admiral.
