GMI-General Music Interface

Post by YISH313z »

Looking at the photos from Musikmesse, i know what Copperlan is and ive even installed it out of curiosity, but I am unfamiliar with GMI.

Anybody know what that is?

According to this it would appear to be some sort of DSP expansion card being developed for midi controllers - similar to the CME / Waldorf Nano setup.

Ahh! Now the make your own hardware by drag and drop makes sense. Niiice!!

So essentialy the little GMI image on the info ad at MUSIKMESSE is a single dsp chip cartridge that can be programmed to do whatever you desire

And me counting the number of squares from the other images as well as what was posted on mao, those are potentialy newer dsp cards, with the last one having 18 squares to be Xite-1(just speculating)

hmmm :D
