CAN I USE CREAMWARE DSP AUDIO CARD ONLY..AS DSP CARD?

HELLO..I USE WIN7 X64 and i have the opportunity to use in my system a creamware card(pulsarii,project,srbii or...luna).i don't have any creamware card in my system.i don't want to use it as an audio card.only as dsp card
is it possible?if yes..which is the way?tell me also please..if i buy the new scope software will i be able to use all the synths that are included (minimax etc..) even with a 6 dsp card??which are the limitations?

yes, it will work.

the limitations would be the number of voices and how much other stuff can be run at the same time. 6 dsps can do a lot of things.

do you mean that i can keep working with my maudio or rme sound card asio drivers and use a srb2 or a pulsar 2 only...for the dsp vstis and vsts??

Yes, if you are not on x64, look at XTC mode...it's a little tricky to set up right, but is exactly what you want to do. Run scope synths as vsti in your daw, with all audio flowing through your daw, not the I/O of the dsp card.

why not on x64?i use windows 7 x64....

XTC may or may not work in x64. You can try & see...
