Hi!

Running Win98 and the latest Pulsar I software.

After installation the Windows default project loads fine. But after a bunch of reboots Pulsar won't load in the background when starting up Windows. I have to manually start the Pulsar software and then close it again to make it load. Then the Win deafult project works fine.

Anybody got a solution for this?

Not sure how much help I can be because I actually use a Macintosh... However, in my version of the software a background application called "PulsarStartup" loads the Winstart.pro.
Are you still getting the dialog box that allows you to set the sample rate etc when WIN98 starts up?
if not... go to Pulsar:App:Bin
and look for the PulsarStartup thingy and add it to your list of programs that startup when WIN98 starts..... might work (?)

Start -> Run -> msconfig <enter>
Startup Tab

Make sure the option InitPulsar is checked, which should have a command line like

c:\Pulsar\App\Bin\runpep.exe -s

Of course your install path may be slightly different...

I can't think of any reason this would uncheck itself. It never has for me, and I've gone through many installs and Pulsar versions since owning my first Pulsar years ago...

The entry was totally gone. I added your line under the run section in the registry. Works like a clock! Thanks!
