Yes P4-Celerons that are just like the old P4 Willamette cores: very little CACHE. I'd suggest you just go with a Northwood, even a slower clocked northwood will probably give better performance.

Oh I know, I wouldn't miss a 2ghz p4 for anything.
Its a shame about the lower cache though, I suppose it wouldn't be budget chip otherwise.

The main advantage I see with the chip, is that it is a stepping stone into pentium 4, as they share the same socket. And they will only get better with time. Look at the old celerons compared with pentiums.

It just means more variety in the market.
