Cubase LE 5 Error: Can`t open Creamware Play/Rec

I try to use XTC Mode in Cubase and Cubase can`t open the Soundcard. Any Idea?

Ok here some informations maybe somone could help me then:

Before i used cubase se everything was easy. i only had to take the scope asio driver in cubase and i had sound on my outputs. but i want to use cubase 5 le cause of the instrument tracks. i choose the scope asio driver- no sound. then i want to choose the outputs in the vst connections and there is only merge to choose. in the asio settings in cubase i opened the pulsar settings and i cant choose analog outputs in the direct play window. when i load analog outputs in the scope project file i`ll be able to choose it, but what i have to conect in scope project file to the analog outputs? and why it`s so different to cubase se?

you have checked "enable XTC(VSTIM) mode in set\settings\general, and then closed Scope before opening Cubase, correct?

what's in your xtcproject.pro?

First of all: does the xtc logo appear when you start up cubase?
Can you load any xtc plugins?
Post a screenshot of your xtcproject.pro
Have you ticked the "enable xtc mode" in scope?
-As far as i know xtc mode doesnt work on w7 64..

XTC is enabled and Scope closed. I can open plugins. But i have no sound on the pulsar. No cubase plugs no pulsar plugs sounds out to my speakers.
My xtc project has the direct play mixer container not connected to something. Asio2 16 source 64 to merge and from merge to asio2 dest 64.

well.. had a look at it: You can disconnect the Merge module (but dont delete it - you might want to use it later)
insert a analog source AND dest module (or what ever you use for in/outputs, aday port maybe?)

Connect Asio source to analog dest and Asio dest to Analog source. (This way, the audio flows from the asio driver outputs to your scope card output, and the scope input port is routed to asio inputs - allowing you to record sound.)
Leave the project open and open up your daw.
playback a wavefile on a track and see if you have sound. If you have sound, save the new xtcproject.pro and close scope and re open your daw.

If you dont have sound, repost a screenshot of your new xtcproject.pro

Everything works fine, my nocturn 25 doesn`t crash anymore. But cubase le 5 do not have mono instrument tracks and no vst rack. i only can play stereo synths from scope, what a shit, i thought i could do enything i like to do with this version without a usb dongle

Have you tried "reaper" - its a GREAT daw! and really cheap! and has fully functioning trial.
I went from cubase to reaper (and now Pro tools, but only because i use it at work as well)

Wow what a price! Looks realy good, thanks for the tip. I bought an ableton 7 le upgradeable for free to live intro 8. I thought it would be better than cubase or an other DAW for what i want to do. I`m not an soundengineer and only wanna make some house grooves to improvise with my sax.
