A16 ultra power supply

Hi I bought an A16 ultra off ebay, but it didnt come with a power supply

the sonic core manual

says "In case of loss or damage please use only an 12 VAC 1.5A Power supply in
connection with your A16 Ultra"

I have a 12V AC 1amp transformer, will this be OK? I figure seeing the current is less it cant do any damage, but before I plug it in I thought I should check

my A16 ultra is the older creamware branded version, but I assume power supply is the same as back of unit says 12V AC (it doesn't mention current)

If this wont do can anyone point me anywhere on the web I can buy the right power supply, thanks

actually, the smaller supply is more likely to damage your unit than a bigger one. the A16 won't draw more current than it needs.

if you are in the USA, i have a few 120vlt supplies left. you can pm me, if you need one. the 1 amp supply will probably work, but you should get one that it 1.5 amps for safety's sake.

Thanks for the power supply offer but I am in Australia, I will have a look at electronic store here & see if I can find 1.5 amp supply
