So, I've got my new laptop...
Lenovo W520
i7-7620 2.2 GHz, Sandy Bridge
nVidia 1000M video w/ 2G RAm
x86-64
Windows 7
So, I've got SCOPE installed no problem. But I'm trying to install Mod IV, and it is choking during the install, with an error that reads "This program only for this architecture: x86". Is there a 64bit version of Mod IV (at least the installer)? I can't find it on the FTP, so maybe I'm not looking in the right place, or something else? I've also tried running it under a few different compatability modes, but that doesn't matter. I don't think the issue is actually with Mod IV, just the installer it is bundled with.
Help?
(ps- having a 15" laptop with full 1080 HD screen, and SCREAMING speed...I'm loving this thing so far.)

You need to transfer your folders from 32bit ( entire folder and all contents ) over to the laptop.
Mod IV installer was designed in 32bit.
I ran into this when I went from W7 32 to x64......
Let me know if I am right or wrong as I will be upgrading to an i7 laptop from ADK by years end, well once their prices drop a little, and I actually have the money...

Gary de-zipped things for me. I looked at the .iss file that was included, which is part of the installer. It lists all the files, and where each one goes. For the most part, it was simply copying directories into the SCOPE install directory, but I also added the registry key for the mod 4 version number.
That seems to work ok. However, I now have the tapedelay.sys issue. I did get astroman's .zip that included M4tapedelay.sys, short, etc., and installed those in SCOPE/App/Sys, but I still get some errors about a DSP Tape WDM file not found. I'll keep at it.
Thanks to Gary for the quick fix!
