No Samplerate, No Audio

Post by AndrewTurnerAUS »

Hi All,

I've had this problem for a while but never solved it. When I start Scope I get no audio and my cards have no clocking. Has anyone else had this issue?
I'm running a Pulsar Classic Board (unbalanced 6 DSP) with a XTC booster (6 DSP) card linked with 2 x TDM cables. The same issue appears in ver 4 and 4.5. Sometimes i'll run a whole day without any issues then next day i can't get it working at all. I try everything from powering down to re-seating the cards, cleaning connections, in the end it's just luck I think because I have no idea what's causing this issue.

Cheers

What windows are you running, motherboard, ram etc. Havent seen this before, but the more technically inclined might have some ideas if you give some more system specs. What happens if you toggle to Slave then back to Master ?

the screenshot indicates there's an input signal on S/PDIF.
Could be a real device, but in your case a damaged cable whip is more likely.
It's not uncommon (there are broken contacts/shortcircuits inside) to mess up sync handling.

cheers, Tom

Since I had a problem with Midi with one of my card, Astroman told me to unplug the plate and I
it has ran stable ever since. I use to have lost connnection problems, samplerate was lost, and have funny software errors.
