well, if it comes up with that dialog, the usual procedure is to direct it to the file with the registration codes.
there's a button to choose the file
The usual path is the Scope folder, subfolder 'App', subfolder 'Bin'...
the file is called allkeys.skf (or similiar) - it's a plain textfile, so any editor/ word processor will allow you to check what's actually in it.
The Scope distribution contains more or less all plugins available, and you may not have all required keys.
There's one key for the Scope basic software and various keys for single plugins and/or bundles.
2nd hand sellers aren't always (fully) honest in this regard...

best if you look at the file first and if something is unclear post which devices you want to install
occasinally the registry system gets confused - (some) anti virus software was a safe bet some years ago...

cheers, Tom

"well, if it comes up with that dialog, the usual procedure is to direct it to the file with the registration codes." This i have done, but it don`t work.
I deinstall spybot and adware and try again. But it don`t work too. Did this programms something in the backround that makes the installation impossible although this programms were deinstalled?
Than i have to install a new windows!?

Thanks,

it's not very likely that Windoze is spoilt to a degree that makes Scope installation impossible.
Did you run Scope in it's native (SFP/non-XTC) mode ?
The most straight forward approach is to do just that first, check that all IOs and the plugins are running and THEN proceed with XTC setup.
For the latter you load a Scope project with the devices and IO modules you want to use in XTC mode and save the project as your XTC project. When in XTC mode you don't have access to the Scope project window, that's why you have to do the setup in SFP mode.
It's not a plugin-and-go scenario, has never been... ;)
If you're new to the Scope environment, it may be worth thinking about if XTC is necessary at all for your workflow.
It's not a bad thing by itselfl, but lacks a lot of flexibility.
Scope is easy to integrate with the Sequencer via Asio (and even hardware), but the Scope mixing and mastering environment IS definitely superior to Cubase's stock devices. You'd probably have to spend a 4-figure amount to get into the same league with native processing... no kidding.
(that means... if you have the mix and master package)

You could have bought the SRB with just the basic software - then those registration dialogs will pop up again and again - for you simply lack the proper codes. Did you look at the keyfile, what's listed in there ?
It could also be the seller messed the files (you probably didn't buy it from a store recently... )
Before thinking about any Windoze related actions you really should be clear about that.

cheers, Tom

This are the entries in the allkeys file. I could install Scope Software 4.0 and 4.5 with this file!?
Many years ago i owned for a short time a big creamware card and the XTC mode runs perfect after installing the software without any modification. I tried to use the Scope Platform, but it was so complicated for me that i only use XTC Mode.

Do you get the XTC logo when you open your daw? late by loading the optimaster, after that the first question for a serialnummber pops

My screenshot is in a word document. No time to do it better. i have too children 2,5years and 4 month. Thats the reason wy i wont to use the XTC Mode-i have less time
Maybe someone can post a xtc project wich works?

Thanks, Mischa
