The samplers are pretty much the only thing i don't really use on the scope system.
Mainly use kontact, again this is due to the vast amount of soundbanks for it.

Is there a load of soundbanks for the sts? I got a pulsar a while back and it came with a demo cd of soundbanks of various stuff. Anyhows what about today?

Or would it be a tool that would be best used for sampling on the fly - resampling the scope synths and stuff. well thats how i'm looking at them now.

I haven't messed with it either yet, but supposedly it can load standard Akai sample banks. Those used to be the "standard" back in the day, so I'd search the web for those samples.

SF2, all soundfont(s) banks (and you can change the programme with mid,i like an expande,r on the fly )
And you can make your own banks with tools (downloaded on planetz ...)
I don't test the re sampler on th fly.
