any bigband libraries other than Garritan jazz/bigband?

Post by kensuguro »

I'm looking for a bigband library. I know Garritan has one, but the sound is a bit chilled out for what I'm going for. Garritan's is more like "a bunch of older jazz dudes playing big band tunes", and not "zoot suit wearin' cool cats blasting flame from trumpets and saxes". See the attitudinal difference?

for ex, I like this:

the arrangement is beyond awesome, but I think the play style is also very tense and high power. Maybe it's just the trumpets... I need to grab Arturo Sandoval.. lol.

Please tell me the instrumentation you need.

I have Fable Sounds, Chris Hein and Warp IV.
For 1000 USD I got all 3 of these and go from Glen Miller, to EW and Fire, to Maynard Ferguson/Bill Chase...
