sidechain selection cannot be changed

i select an audio source to sidechain in stm compressor but cannot select other afterwards
not even chose "none"
any fix?? :-?

yes, write to S|C. the work around is to use the compressor in the routing window and not the insert. if you use the insert, choose the right source the first time, or reload the compressor...

ok... what about sidechain of stm2448 compressors??? in that case i need to reload a new stm to change connection of the sidechain?? :-?

well,
i've passed the bug along to Holger. you'll have to use another compressor for sidechaining, or make the correct choice the first time...anyway, it's on the list to be fixed.

at the time i am using the vinco.. nice.... do you reccommend it over the soniccore standard ones?

well, they're just different kinds of compressors. personally, i like vinco very much. it's more natural sounding and alittle more squishy than the stock compressor which is a little more hard edged. both have their uses, i think the material determines the compressor. i'd use the vinco more often than not, when compared to the stock compressor, myself.
