Greetings Planetz
1) Is there a way to customize the default startup project?
2) Please be lenient of my thickness on this but I find the loading of soundfonts/patches very unituitive in the STS5000 sampler. Even though I read the manual I can't seem to get it right.
Anybody could offer a quick opinion on the sampler? Is worth using or should a purely software solution be better? I know GigaSampler very well and I think the STS wont offer the same flexibility. Then again it might be my lack of understanding...
3) DSP issues, error message: "lost cominication with board0 DSP #xx" Any suggestions/comments. If I wiggle the fanout cable at the back it can trigger the error quite rapidly, if that means anything. I would suspect a faulty trace on the board.....
Thanks All
Eric

startup = project at window start
default = project after manual launch or when creating "new" project

The STS5000 uses the older generation AKAI style type sample architectures, so if that suits your purposes and you already have existing compatible libraries then no reason not to use it.
But it wont give you the same 'streaming' type content typical of Giga or Kontakt etc.
I hear STS5000 has some good time stretch capabilities, although Ive not put them to the test. Maybe thats something I should do for ScopeRise.
