ASIO2 Float destination module logic - it is missing

Post by CreamWare4Ever »

Hello,

I have a question regarding the fact that ''ASIO2 Float Desti-64' module does not exist in the same manner as 'ASIO1 Float Desti-64' IO module'

I read in the manual that for ASIO2 "The single ASIO Dest module supports all sample resolutions and adapts itself automatically to the resolution of the Source module connected to it."

But I'm routing signal as external effect from Cubase so 'ASIO2 Desti-64' is connected to 'Z-Link Dest'.

I just want to be sure that 32bit float quality signal will be returned in same quality back to Cubase through 'ASIO2 Desti-64'.

I would really appreciate some clarification in this matter.

Cheers.

the ASIO2 Dest module is correct for all ASIO2 sources.

you will get the bitrate of the Source module.
