I never liked these Service( )eLieWIBUiLokSyncrocenserSoftCenterDongle... crap.
How many percent of the whole price for a product we pay for these pseudo security registration structure?

They don't work, they give users additional time for installing, it slows down the applications and it makes the product more expensive.

I see a DongleBox beside a wall box in studios.

My only dongle is the XITE. And having dealt with various dongles in the past, and all the problems, I have no intention of buying software that requires their use.

Although, I do wish I could run SCOPE/routing window to edit projects while away from the XITE. Sometimes I'd rather spend time doing that than reading in my van pool.

I've never had a problem with dongles, and in many cases actually prefer them over locking a license to a particular computer.
I've been sharing my Samplitude dongle amongst 3 computers via USB hub trick for years now :)

I had no technical probs with the dongles too. But they still don't work.
Means, they don't protect the product to be cracked.

So, all this crap is wasted time and money. More I like to say, the honest user must feel messed around.
