I have a 6dsp and 4dsp
My comp is happy enough staying at xp32 (It isnt my main DAW, It is mainly a mixer for my hardware synths and such)
Is it worth paying the upgrade fee ?
I mean is there any extra effects or synths or whatever ?
64bit doesn't bother and neither does win7 support
So any advice ?
Cheers

5.1 vs 5
Re: 5.1 vs 5
I think you are fine as is IMHO.
The converters on the cards aren't up to todays specs and the X box's have noticably better quality but Scope DSP cards for live work are the most stable virtual concept ever made.
I used GigaDAW's w/o Scope cards and had troubles consistently. Scope cards just work all of the time, rain or shine.

Re: 5.1 vs 5
I think the only new addition between 5.0 and 5.1 is that Arp 2 is now included.
Otherwise, you don't get anything else.

Re: 5.1 vs 5
if you stay on a 32bit os, there is no need to upgrade.
Re: 5.1 vs 5
when i bought 5.1 i also got vinco, vectron and arp2.
i already owned minimax, b2003, psyq, optimaster so i cannot tell if these one were includeded in 5.1

With 5.1 I got the minimax, 2003, optimaster, vinco and all that.
The prodessy, six string and mod4
isn't included in 5.1, though.
For me it was a good buy because I owned flexor and mod 3 only.
For sure I had to upgrade anyway because I moved to 64 bit.
